The High Priestess

In the first issue of Allure that I bought (June 2002, around the time of STAR WARS: Episode I, The Phantom Menace) there is an article that features Natalie Portman. Now, mind you, this is no regular chick-mag. The photographers that piece together the look of the models are exquisite. So I scanned a page in, a perfect profile of Ms. Portman photographed by Michael Thompson, cropped it in Photoshop, and went to print it out...only to find that my cartridge had run out of yellow ink and I had a funky color scheme going on. But I was bored in Bio, and cared less about whether it turned out at all, and so I began to draw on it, almost Henna-like. And this is the result with a bit of contrasting and brightening and so on.
